to apply some of the knowledge gained far away to her home soil.

After discovering that the Indian Neem was the same as Nigeria Dongoyaro,
she decided to find out what more we have on our continent. She
discovers everyday, new herbs in our country alone!

Since I was a child, I remember my mother and grandmother carrying
big travel bags full of vitamins and herbs. That was when it all
started...
For many years I battled with recurring colds and flu, Irritable
bowel syndrome as well as Hypothyroidism, often finding that standard
medicine never worked that well for me. It wasn’t until
I changed my diet to exclude refined sugars (white bread, sugar
and fried foods) and adopted a 'Whole foods' diet consisting of
fresh vegetables, fruits and essential fats and oils topped with
a daily multivitamin and essential minerals, that my skin improved,
my energy levels increased and my illnesses subsided.
Even now when I feel a cold coming on, I know what to do to stop
it in the bud (using natural herbs) before it comes.
I am a great believer in 'Optimum nutrition' as the way forward
for the prevention as well as the cure for many illnesses. We
often underestimate the number of diseases that are caused by
poor nutrition and a simple lack of essential vitamins. Some things
are as easy as taking vitamin A, B, C.
I
have taken it upon myself to educate as many people as possible
about their basic nutritional health; how to feel and look better
by simply changing your diet. It is not only about looking slimmer
or stronger but feeling great mind and body.
